Best Happy Hour Spots in Austin, Texas

If you are new to Austin and want a feel for what this city has to offer, look no further! I have compiled a short list of some of the best happy hours in Austin, Texas, that will make you feel like a true local and introduce you to some of the swankiest places around town.

1) ATX Cocina

Starting off strong with one of my favorite spots to drop in for happy hour is ATX Cocina. This upscale modern Mexican restaurant has arguably one of the best happy hour menus in all of Austin that will satisfy all Mexican food enthusiasts. Sip on their Mezcal Paloma or their excellent margarita that will surely be the best end to your day. Pair their delicious drinks with their happy hour tacos, tamal, or their amazing guacamole. The ATX Cocina happy hour is an elevated experience that will have you wishing every hour was happy hour.

2) Estelle's Social Lounge
One of the newer happy hours I have been extremely impressed with is the one at Estelle’s Social Lounge. The ambiance of Austin’s new social lounge is unmatched; with two levels of downtown views, this chic and welcoming lounge will quickly become your new favorite spot. Beyond the amazing interior, you will be satisfied with some of the most decadent drinks and equally delicious food, including complimentary appetizers during happy hour. And if you don’t want the night to end after happy hour, head up to the second floor, which features a lively club room with a DJ booth. Estelle’s offers so much and more for all your happy hour needs and weekly indulgences! 

3) Loro Austin

My last recommendation, but still just as noteworthy as the first two recommendations, is Loro. The happy hour at Loro has been voted one of the best in Austin because of the unbelievable deals they offer paired with an amazing experience. From their refreshing boozy slushies, specialty bites, and sandwiches, along with cocktails, beer, wine, and sake. Loro is a delicious Asian Smokehouse that will hit the spot every time you visit for their amazing happy hour.
